Health coaching – call for clients

I’m training to be a health coach specialising in thyroid disease management and plant-based diets and lifestyles.  Health coaching can improve diet and exercise, support and empower you through life-changing health events, reduce stress, and identify and overcome behaviours that hold you back.

I’m offering 2 free coaching sessions for 5 people. Sessions following will be based on ‘pay as you feel’. All I ask in return is that you allow me to use some of our sessions (with your consent) to contribute towards my training.

How does it work?

Coaching is brilliant for motivated individuals who know what they want but don’t know where to start. It can also help you get moving again when you feel stuck, feel overwhelmed or lack the confidence to make changes.

Health coaching involves personalised, thought-provoking conversations, evidence-based motivational interviewing, behaviour change theory and creative activities resulting in sustainable, positive changes and improved health.

As your coach, I will help you to identify and overcome issues and barriers. I will be a trusted partner who will help you to stay on track, motivated and accountable. We will meet at a time that fits in with your lifestyle and I will be there with you until you reach your goals and leave you with techniques and tools you can use again and again.

What experience I can offer you

I’m a certified Nutritional therapist and I am working towards my International Coaching Federation (ICF) accreditation, also known as “the Gold standard of coaching”. All sessions are 100% confidential and I adhere to the ICF Code of Ethics.

I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid) over 7 years ago.  I had radiation therapy which resulted in hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid). Like many others post-treatment, my thyroid levels were “healthy” but physically and mentally I felt dreadful. I knew this was not good enough so I took action and made many small changes over time which resulted in a sustainable healthy diet and lifestyle and the confidence to take control of my condition.
