Eating out in Brighton: Terre a Terre
Most of my friends aren’t vegan, but they are amazingly supportive and often volunteer to go vegan with me. Terre a Terre is one of the few places in the world where I can happily take anyone not worry if they will enjoy the food.
Terre a Terre is vegetarian, but they have loads of vegan and gluten-free options. The food is genuinely the best I’ve ever eaten. The atmosphere is lively and positive thanks to the welcoming staff. It’s not the cheapest place to eat out but for the quality of the food, I think it is very reasonable. It’s my go-to place for a special occasion.
If you are going for the first time I have to recommend their KFC (Korean Fried Cauliflower), it’s also on their sharing tapas plate, but you’ll probably want more than a couple of goes.
I recommend the vegan tapas plate for your main meal. It’s a great way to get a little taste of everything on the menu. It’s meant for 2, we shared it between 3; as we wanted dessert. Thinking of dining alone? Power through, or call me. I’ll share with you!
Dessert: The Snap Crackle and Choc is divine, but my heart is with the Churissimo. “Cinnamon sugar spice dusted doughnut straws served with vodka cherries, salt caramel sticky dunker, warm dark chocolate dipper and finished with raspberry freeze dried crumble and extra brute cocoa powder.” I don’t know what extra brute cocoa powder is but it works.
You have no idea how hard it was to get those photos taken before we could eat. Rachel, Kerry, you are true friends. Thank you for not making me eat salad or chips all the time.
